Submission Letter |
When you submit your Webfolio either as a file or as a URL for your Website, also submit your Submission Letter of 200-or-more words in a message body, not an attached file.
- Describe your Webfolio composing and development process.
- Previous experience constructing Web pages,
- Software programs you used to develop the Webfolio,
- Selection and organization process for your artifacts (how and why you made the choices)
- Design decisions and reasons,
- Challenges, successes, and/or surprises
- Describe your review and revision process
- Identify by name and connection to you (my classmate Pat Smart) or other designation if you prefer not to give a name (my sister in Kansas) the two or more people who reviewed your Webfolio draft for you.
- What were their recommendations and what changes did you make based on their comments?
- Summarize your own review process and any changes that resulted from your own review.
- Provide access information for your audience:
- The complete Web address (URL) beginning http:// and leaving a blank space before and after so the link will be active at Blackboard or
- If you are submitting a file attachment, include file details according to the File Attachment Guidelines.

Submit on
the World Wide Web or Submit as a Single Zipped File
|
- Publish your Webfolio online and include the URL in your Submission Letter.
- Double check that the URL works from Blackboard.
- If you have only one file to submit, attach it using the exact filename pattern described in the Webfolio Guidelines for your class.
- If you have multiple files to submit, do not email or attach individual files. Instead, use Winzip or other compression software to make a single zipped file of all the files in your folder.
- You can download a free evaluation copy of Winzip (new browser will open). Note that this software offers a 30-day free evaluation period, so download it no more than 2-3 weeks before the submission date so you'll have time to practice using the software before it expires (unless you want to purchase it). Do not produce self-extracting files. I will not open a file that ends .exe.
- Name the zipped file using the exact filename pattern described in the Webfolio Guidelines for your class.
